Amid the trending allegations of marriage scandal against the Managing Director of FCMB, Adam Nuru, the bank yesterday said the allegation of unethical conduct require that its board conduct a review of what transpired, with a view to ascertain any violation of the bank’s code of ethics and the adequacy of these code of conduct ethics.
FCMB assured that this will be done immediately and enjoined all its stakeholders to bear with them as it conduct this review. It urged the public to also respect the various families involved in the matter.
In a statement, the bank said, “We are aware of several stories circulating across the media platforms about our Managing Director, Adam Nuru. a former employee, Ms Moyo Thomas and her deceased husband, Mr Tunde Thomas.
While this is a personal matter, the tragedy of the death of Mr Tunde Thomas and the allegation of unethical conduct require the bank’s board to conduct a review of what transpired, any violation of our code of ethics and the adequacy of these code of conduct ethics.”

It will be recalled that the entire social media space was awashed with the marriage scandal allegation yesterday with many taken aback by the development.
