Ahead of the Ondo State governorship election, the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brig. General Shuaibu Ibrahim, has cautioned corps members who would participate in the election, to shun acts that could make them run foul of electoral laws.
The DG cautioned them not to post results of the poll on social media. He also advised that they should build on the performance of their counterparts in Edo State as part of the process to free and fair elections.
He spoke to newsmen in Akure, t during his official visit to the state. He urged them to always maintain the neutrality that they were known for, be security conscious and be aware of their environment.
The Ondo State Governorship election is scheduled for October 10, 2020.
